The first Innovation Workshop at PLNU

Douglas F. Wall facilitated an Innovation Workshop at PLNU, which created critical important relationships and inspired the formation of Life Ventures.

2016–2020

Early life-saving technology investments

Life Ventures invested in several life-saving technology companies, including Daylight Solutions, Prometheus Biosciences, and Alastin Skincare.

By 2023

A strong return and a broader platform

Life Ventures returned over $211 million to the limited partners with only $8.8 million invested capital. This experience inspired Doug to form the Innovation Platform, a community focused on innovation which transforms lives.

2024

Formation of Light Ventures and the Innovation Workshop

The Innovation Platform founding members team inspired the formation of Light Ventures and the Innovation Workshop.
